7th IEEE Workshop on Model-Based Development for ComputerBased Systems - Linking Views and Levels of Abstractions

within the 16th Annual IEEE International Conference and Workshop on the Engineering of Computer Based Systems (ECBS)

Part of the MBD Workshop Series

Successful application of model based development in domains like business information systems or embedded systems has demonstrated its practical relevance. However, with the shift to complex models with a long-term evolution, issues related to the reuse of models gain importance for practical application of model based development, including partitioning and maintaining models and managing their change. Adequate modelling techniques must to provide a practical application of model based development.

This workshop focuses on the scientific and practical aspects of model based development (models, processes, methods, and tools) for supporting the construction of computer based systems, with a focus on evolution and management of model. Topics of the workshop include:

Format:

To enable a maximum of interaction and discussion between the participants, the workshop will be held as a combination of two parts. First, the full papers are presented including a short discussion after each presentation. In the second part, short position statements are given, as introduction to a panel discussion by the speakers, to initiate a workshop discussion with all attendees.
