Joint Meeting of the 4th Workshop on Model-Based Development of Computer Based Systems (MBD) and 3rd International Workshop on Model-based Methodologies for Pervasive and Embedded Software (MOMPES 2006)

within the 13th IEEE Int. Conf. on Engineering of Computer Based Systems (ECBS 2006), Potsdam, March 30th, 2006.

Part of the MBD Workshop Series

Scope

Model Based Development (MBD) comprises approaches to software development which heaviliy rely on modeling and the systematic transition from models to executable code. One of these approaches is the OMG’s Model Driven Architecture (MDA), which is based on the separation between the specification of a system and its implementation using specific platforms.
This workshop focuses on the scientific and practical aspects related with the adoption of MDA and other MBD methodologies (notation, process, methods, and tools) for supporting the construction of computer-based systems, and more specifically, pervasive and embedded software.
